Water Department
The Village of Wappingers Falls Water Department, located at 2582 South Avenue, is a service that operates the public water system. The Water Department, or Water Utility, provides potable tap water to residential customers, businesses, and others in Dutchess County. Village residents can contact the Water Department to start or stop water services, for drinking water reports, or for billing and payment information. The Village has looked carefully at and analyzed its water source, treatment facility and distribution. It has spent over $10 million on critical projects that protect, treat and distribute our water. Its future plans are to continually monitor the quality of our water and plan for the future.
