The Village Highway Department is responsible for Village snow and ice removal, brush and leaf pick up, cleaning of the streets and various other tasks. In the summer months the Village Highway performs installation, maintenance, repair of sidewalks and other capital infrastructure repairs or installations. The Highway Department performs street cleaning and cleaning of catch basins (gutters) on the Village streets.  The Highway Department also maintains the Village Sanitary Sewer system.  The Highway Department is in charge of installation and replacement of Street Signs.

The Village of Wappingers Falls Highway Department strives to make the Village a safe, clean environment for Village Residents and Visitors.

Notice: The Village of Wappingers Falls municipal lot will be closed the first Monday of each month from 8 am-11 am beginning on Monday, May 6th in order to do maintenance and clean up.
