Village Election

The Office of the Village Clerk conducts and preserves the integrity of all local elections held in Wappingers Falls, New York.  The next scheduled local election is March 16, 2021. The current positions and elected officials are up for election – Mayor (Matt Alexander), Ward 1 Trustee (Billy Marcojohn), Ward 2 Trustee (Mary Paonessa), Ward 3 Trustee (Bryan Lammers). This election will be held between the hours of 10:00 a.m and 9:00 p.m in the Village Court Room located at 2582 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls NY 12590 (Rear of Building).


Absentee Ballot applications for the upcoming elections can be printed using the link below and completed in the convenience of your home.  As a registered Wappingers Falls voter, you may mail, e-mail (jmkarge@optonline.net), fax, or hand deliver your completed application to the Office of the Village Clerk, 2582 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls NY 12590.

Qualifications of Office Holders 

Pursuant to Village Law 3-300(1) and Public Officers Law 3(1), to be eligible to hold an elective or appointive village office, an individual must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • A citizen of the United States; and
  • A resident of the village.
